The redesigned CVA Optima takes everything hunters love about the original and adds smart upgrades for an even better experience in the field. The Optima fills the sweet spot between CVA’s entry-level Wolf and premium Accura models – offering enhanced features without the premium price tag.

Adjustability That Adapts to You

Hunters come in all shapes and sizes – and so should their muzzleloaders. That’s why the new Optima features an adjustable comb with two included cheek risers – each a different height – for a more customized fit. It also includes an adjustable length of pull with a removable spacer allowing you to tailor the fit whether you’re layering up for late-season weather or setting it up for a new shooter in the family. It’s a level of customizability you won’t find in most muzzleloaders.

Precision Meets Versatility

The 26″ fluted stainless steel barrel strikes the ideal balance between maneuverability and long-range performance – perfect for the deep woods or the open field. Whether you’re hunting thick cover or glassing over distance the Optima delivers consistent reliable accuracy.

Comfort and Control in Every Shot

A semi-vertical grip and ambidextrous palm swell give you a more natural hold and better trigger control. CVA also upgraded the Picatinny rail for optics mounting and added an ambidextrous hammer spur to ensure ease of use from either side. Adjustable Cheek Piece included 0″ 1/4″ & 1/2″ risers.
