Vanguard barrels are cold hammer forged which makes them much more accurate and reliable than other rifles in their price range. To back this up all Vanguards are guaranteed to shoot a 3-shot group of .99” or less at 100 yards (SUB-MOA) from a cold barrel when used with Weatherby® factory or premium ammunition. The Vanguard Talon a 3-position safety two-stage match grade trigger and fluted bolt body. All Vanguards have a one-piece machined bolt body and a fully enclosed bolt sleeve. They also sport an integral recoil lug and hinged floorplate.
